MD/CEO UBA Sierra Leone receives delegation from Power Women 232 ahead of Power Fest Event
The Acting MD/CEO of UBA Sierra Leone, Mohamed Alhajie Samoura, met with a cross-section of executive members from Power Women 232 at his office in Freetown on Tuesday, August 29th. The purpose of the meeting was for the executives to brief the MD/CEO about their upcoming Power Fest Event, scheduled to take place in November.
Since 2022, Power Women has introduced its first large-scale festival called “Power Fest 232,” an annual event designed to create a networking and professional development space. The goal is to bring together entrepreneurs and professionals from various industries to foster learning, collaboration, and networking. This annual event facilitates discussions among entrepreneurs, creatives, and leaders on various issues affecting both the organization’s members and participants. The 2023 Power Fest aims to target corporate institutions, young professionals, entrepreneurs, thought leaders, influencers, and more.
The MD/CEO commended the organization for its continuous efforts in supporting women’s issues through various activities. He encouraged them to remain focused on their goals and assured them of the bank’s support for their cause.
