Launch of Girls’ Education Skills Partnership (GESP).
Group Chairman @tonyoelumelu joined HRH Sophie Countess of Wessex and the Prime Minister of Britain, @borisjohnsonuk at the launch of Girls’ Education Skills Partnership (GESP).
Through this partnership, UBA and several major global businesses are harnessing our shared networks and resources to educate girls and empower women economically.
The programme will target adolescent girls and young women aged 13-24 years, providing high-quality and market-relevant skills training to around 1 million girls and women, so they can become entrepreneurial and employable in such sectors as information technology and manufacturing, and other STEM-related fields.
