UBA Sierra Leone Supports the National Team at the AFCON 2021 in Grandeur
Staff of United Bank for Africa Sierra Leone continue to show high-level of patriotism and supports to the National Football Team, the Leone Stars. Sierra Leone for the first time in 25 years is participating in the AFCON 2021 games in Cameron.
The bank’s continued patronage includes buying of the Leone Stars Jerseys which all of its staff are clad with on each Leone Stars match day to show solidarity to the football legends and Sierra Leone as they go about serving the bank’s valued customers.
To climax its heightened zest for Leone Star’s victory, the bank has also sponsored the release of a ground-breaking and champions-inspired song featuring one of Sierra Leone’s best female artists, Natasha Beckley former Miss Sierra Leone, and International Beauty Queen. The song which is infused with lyrics that appeal to the tastes of Sierra Leonean and football lovers does not only resonate with the brand behind it but also the strong message of patriotism and confidence it portrays in the players.
According to the Head of Marketing and Cooperate Communications at UBA SL, Sallieu Sesay, the bank is quite excited for the place which the Leone Stars Team has earned itself and will continue to show its unflinching love and supports to the team.
25 years ago since Sierra Leone qualified for the AFCON, UBA’s overwhelming support is one of joy, hope, enthusiasm in the beautiful prospect of the Leone Stars who have so far demonstrated magnificent and impressive performances against the defending champions Algeria and Ivory Coast Football Teams.
The bank is very confident that the Leone Stars Team will perform well in pending matches through different qualifying stages.
