UBA Sierra Leone MCC Head on Culture Radio ‘Morning Ride Show’
The Head of Marketing and Corporate Communications UBA Sierra Leone Sallieu Sesay on Thursday 2nd April, 2020 participated in the Culture Radio 104.5 FM Current Affairs Program “Morning Ride.”
The Morning Ride show attracts wide rage of audiences in Freetown, Port Loko in the North and other parts of the country who listens every week day on current issues pertaining to news, sport, entertainment and interviews all in 1:30 minutes.
During the show, Sallieu articulated the bank’s latest support to the Government of Sierra Leone to the fight against COVID-19.
“In times like this, the bank’s intervention is to support the government to mobilise, engage and prevent frontline health workers in the containment of COVID-19” he said.
UBA’s MCC Head disclosed that a total of One Billion Four Hundred and Forty Million Leones has been given to National COVID-19 Committee set up by President Bio to fight the pandemic in Sierra Leone.
He used the platform to talk about the the bank’s safety measures put in place for staff and customers during this period.
Sallieu encouraged listeners to enrol to their digital products such as Leo, Internet Banking, Push and Pull, Cash Back PoS and Mobile App as these services are up and running 24/7. ‘These services allow customers to keep safe because you don’t have to go the bank to access your money’ he says.
He revealed that, the Bank has increased ATM withdrawal from Le 3 Million Leones to Le6 Million Leones.
Mystic from Dwarzak who sent a text during the program commended UBA for the bold step taken in supporting the government at this trying time.
